Q. What makes you the unofficial FA biographer?
A. I developed a mad crush on Steve August in the fall of 1993, and we dated for approximately two months in the spring of 1994. On our first lunch date he brought me a copy of the brand-new cassette release of Work Refreshed. :-) Sadly, the band was doomed to break up right around the time we were. When I realized the tenth anniversary of that period of music history was approaching, well, I had to do something. Of course, it's getting on for 20 years now... gah.
